BE in Service event at Feed My Starving Children at 401 93rd Avenue NW, Coon Rapids on Friday, April 7 at 6 -7:30 PM or 7:30 -9 PM.  This is a great opportunity for families to come together and serve.  A parent must accompany children.  Children must be ages 5 and older. Love and Logic Class – Mondays, April 24 - May 15 from 9:15-11:15 AM.  The Love and Logic approach to parenting is built around the science of crafting caring and respectful relationships.  An authentic, loving connection between parents and their children is the root of a healthy, thriving relationship built on trust and understanding.  Register through ISD 728 Community Ed for the class.  Class #781-P.  Email Laura for free childcare during the class.  The class cost is $15 Individual/$20 couple.  There is a coupon for a free class in the Community Ed catalog for people who are new to ECFE.

Mother’s Day Tea – Saturday, May 13th from 10:30-12:30.  This is going to be a wonderful experience for mothers, grandmothers, and the people who love them.  Join us at the Holiday Inn Otsego for a catered breakfast, meaningful message from guest speaker Marcia Ericson, and fun activities to enjoy as a family.  $20 for adults and $16 for kids ages 3-12.  Register online

BE Growing - DIY Herb Planting & Fellowship on Thursday, May 18 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.  Come when you can during the time, connect with other women, create a herb garden to take home. More details and cost to follow. Sign up at the Welcome Desk at church.

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through kindergarten. We know it's a little confusing so let's just stick with "MOPS."

MOPS is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers.  We also believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why MOPS International connects moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS groups are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying along side one another.
We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world.

Otsego MOPS meets at Christ Church during the school year on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.  For more information please e-mail one of the group coordinators.
